What do we think?
Take yourself off to the striking Yorkshire Dales and the wonderful writers’ “Spring Garsdale Retreat (untutored)”; a charming creative haven in a beautiful Edwardian house with rooms for just seven guests. Immerse yourself in five days of blissful scribbling, tuck yourself away at the writing desk in your cosy room, peruse the house’s specialist poetry library, or venture out across the tranquil hills in search of literary inspiration. Hosts, Hamish and Rebecca regularly interact with local professional writers whom you might like to meet. What better place to simply pause, draw breath, savour the freedom to focus on your writing and to share Rebecca’s delicious home-cooked food with like-minded guests – far from the bewildering bustle of everyday life?
What do they say?
“Shake off those winter blues and escape into the peace and beauty of The Yorkshire Dales! Leave all distractions behind so you can start, develop or finish that project and be nurtured with excellent food for both body and soul… At the Garsdale Retreat, writers can devote themselves totally to writing.”
