What do we think?

Eager to explore historic Portugal? Join HF Holidays on an exciting new seven-day guided tour of the amazing restored palaces and beautiful gardens of Lisbon and Sintra. Based at the striking green-tiled Hotel Vila Galé Ericeira, right on Portugal’s west coast, you’ll spend your nights relaxing in luxurious surroundings, and your days strolling through the seventeenth century Palace de Fronteira, visiting the Jeronimos Monastery and tropical gardens of Belém (home to the superb pastéis de Belém, best enjoyed – in our opinion – with a dusting of cinnamon) and marvelling at the mysterious gardens of the twentieth century Quinta de Regaleira mansion. From Lisbon to Sintra, there’s an unparalleled blend of brilliant buildings and glorious gardens to delight historians and horticulturists alike on this week-long foray into Portugal’s past. What are you waiting for?
