What do we think?

Would you like to try pottery again, feeling that you never quite fulfilled your creative potential at school? Or you just want to try something different and like the idea of moulding some clay? Maybe you are actually an experienced potter, but would enjoy the challenge of learning some new techniques? Tutor, Jane Abbott has the experience and credentials to teach you something new, whatever your ability level. Is it time to roll up your sleeves?

What do they say?

“Learn how to colour clay using stains and oxides and how to inlay these colours into rolled slabs of clay. You will then be shown a variety of ways in which you can create forms using these decorated and possibly textured slabs of clay. As we work, other basic techniques will be introduced such as coiling and the use of moulds. We will fore your work for you once it is dry and you will be offered a choice of glaze finishes. A course that is delivered to suit any level of experience from beginner to advanced practitioner. Your tutor, Jane Abbot has been teaching ceramics for over 30 years. She exhibits both in the UK and abroad.”
