What do we think?

If you have ever admired hand-dyed fabrics and wished you knew how to create them, then this Flora Arbuthnott’s Indigo Dyeing Workshop has your name on it.  Spend a relaxed day with Flora, a wonderful artist, and learn the basics of Shibori, as well as how to create and maintain an organic indigo dye vat. We feel positive that you will get a buzz from this dynamic day, absorbing the creative environment and enthusiasm of the small, friendly group working alongside you. Part of the beauty of this introduction to dyeing is the fact that you can replicate it all at home at the kitchen table if you catch the indigo bug!

What do they say?

“A creative day exploring indigo and shibori. Learn traditional Japanese techniques of Shibori resist dyeing, using wooden blocks to create repeat patterns… Come away with a dyed upcycled garment, or fabric to make in to something like a scarf, or cushion.”
