What do we think?

An Emma Darwin workshop is something special. She has been described as “a rare thing – a gifted writer and a talented, intuitive teacher who is able to dig into technical subtleties and the horrifying mess of the first draft with wit, confidence and respect” (Jenn Ashworth). Perhaps you have read “A Secret Alchemy” or “The Mathematics of Love”?

Encorum is delighted in its third year of sponsorshop involvement with the Festival, to specifically sponsor Emma’s workshop and we hope to see you there.

What do they say?

“Whether you’re writing about your own life or someone from history, you’ll need the tools to make your story accurate and compelling. Emma will show you how to make your own or others’ real lives come alive for the reader, without writing fiction… Emma is a creative writing mentor and tutor and runs the hugely popular blog This Itch of Writing.”
