What do we think?
In a world where written communication seems to have been downgraded to an e-mail, text message or even a tweet, calligraphy might seem out of place. But this ancient art, dating back to the 7th century, perhaps stands out for its beauty even more today. What better way to gain a practical introduction to modern calligraphy than through this Emma Barnes workshop, and then create something truly unique for family, friends, or simply for your own pleasure.
Encorum is delighted in its third year of sponsorshop involvement with the Festival, to specifically sponsor Emma’s workshop and we hope to see you there.
